The 4 star Krebs Hotel is located in the city centre of Interlaken and was established in 1875.
The Pension Krebs was built in 1875 on the Bahnhofstrasse in Interlaken. It belonged then to Elisabeth Krebs-Borter and Edward Krebs from Reutigen. Right next to the Pension there was a large bam and stables. The Bahnhofstrasse was as yet untarmacked, and was surrounded by fields until a range of small shops of all kinds appeared some time later on.
The establishment is now in the hands of the 4th generation. Marianne and Peter Koschak-Krebs, and the modest Pension has become a comfortable 4-star hotel. The 'Krebs' has not lost any of its old charm and cosiness, however, and still stands in the glamour of the Jungfrau mountain.
At the Krebs Hotel the well-being of the guests has always been top priority. Relax with a book in the hotel library, or treat yourself to a drink in the bar.
