The four star Royal St Georges is one of the few hotels in Switzerland build in the Victorian Style architecture. There are two restaurants; the one used for breakfast is large, with high ceilings and is imposing and there is also an elegant 'a la carte' restaurant with a bar.
The main building has a traditional old style facade, with the modern section of the hotel hidden around the side and at the back. The reception area is very spacious and traditional in style, with numerous lounge and reading areas, including a pretty enclosed verandah and an imposing staircase leading to the first floor. Royal St Georges is a charming hotel with an old fashioned feeling and some first class rooms.
